BYD Sealion 7 Prize Draw

1. Promoter

Emerald Green Energy Ltd, trading as Emerald Solar ("Emerald Solar", "we", "us").

2. Prize

1 × new BYD Sealion 7, with a value of £47,000. If the specified vehicle is unavailable for any reason, Emerald Solar reserves the right to substitute an equivalent prize of comparable value. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. On-the-road costs, vehicle tax, insurance, charging equipment and ongoing running costs are the responsibility of the winner unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.

3. Customer-Only Entry

This is a customer-only prize draw. Eligible customers receive one (1) entry at no additional cost when they purchase a qualifying Emerald Solar installation at our normal quoted price. No separate entry fee is charged, and installation prices are not increased, inflated or otherwise adjusted to fund the cost of the prize. The price you are quoted for your solar PV system is the same price that would be quoted outside of this promotion.

4. Qualifying Installation

A "qualifying installation" is a full domestic solar PV system and installation purchased from Emerald Solar and completed between 1 September 2026 and 31 December 2026, which has not been cancelled or refunded. Battery-only installations, repairs, maintenance-only works and commercial projects are excluded unless expressly stated otherwise in these terms.

5. Eligibility

Open to UK residents aged 18 or over at the time of entry, who hold a full and valid UK driving licence at the time the prize is awarded. Employees of Emerald Solar, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the administration of this draw are excluded.

6. How to Enter

1. Book your free solar consultation with Emerald Solar.
2. Have your bespoke design verified by EPVS and approved by the DNO.
3. Complete your qualifying installation within the promotion period.
4. Your single draw entry is registered automatically once installation is complete.

Existing Emerald Solar customers whose installation completes on or after 1 September 2026 and has not been cancelled will receive one automatic entry. No further action is required.

7. Closing Date

The promotion closes at 23:59 on 31 December 2026, or once 500 qualifying customer entries have been received, whichever occurs first. Entries received after the closing point will not be included.

8. Winner Selection & Notification

The winner will be drawn at random from all valid qualifying customer entries under independent supervision within 14 days of the closing date. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email using the contact details supplied at booking within 7 days of the draw, and must respond to confirm acceptance within 14 days of notification. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within this period, Emerald Solar reserves the right to redraw an alternative winner.

9. Prize Delivery

The prize will be delivered to the winner within 30 days of the winner being chosen, unless a later date is agreed in writing with the winner. The vehicle will be supplied new through an authorised BYD dealership and handed over either at that dealership or delivered to a UK mainland address agreed with the winner. The winner must provide a full and valid UK driving licence, proof of identity and proof of address, and complete the dealership's standard handover documentation before the vehicle is released. Where a delay is caused by the winner, by the manufacturer or by circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will keep the winner informed and deliver the prize as soon as reasonably possible thereafter.

10. Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to take part in reasonable publicity, including prize handover photographs, video content and posts on Emerald Solar's social media channels. The winner's first name, surname initial and county may also be published in order to confirm that a valid award has taken place.

11. Data Protection

Personal data collected for the purposes of this promotion will be handled in line with our privacy policy. Data will be used solely for administering the draw and contacting the winner, except where you have separately consented to wider marketing communications.

12. General

Emerald Solar's decision in all matters relating to this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Emerald Solar reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the promotion where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this unavoidable. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Legal Compliance

This promotion is administered in line with the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) Code, including section 8 (Promotional Marketing), and the Gambling Act 2005. Emerald Green Energy Ltd has sought independent legal advice to confirm that the prize draw mechanism does not constitute an unlawful lottery and that the promotion, including the customer-only entry mechanic and the non-inflation of solar PV system prices, complies with applicable law and advertising standards.

14. Finance

Emerald Green Energy Ltd (FCA reference number 1034352) is an appointed representative of HTG Finance Limited (FCA reference number 825534), which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Finance is subject to status, affordability and T&Cs. Emerald Green Energy Ltd acts as a credit broker, not a lender.
